Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Systematically evaluate and assess the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes in the Corporation
  • Ensuring that Corporation’s policies are adhered to and implemented efficiently.
  • Evaluation of Corporation’s internal control systems and recommending their improvement where necessary.
  • Evaluation of the Corporation procurement procedures.
  • Review of Corporation sources of revenue and debt management.
  • Review of Corporation expenses and creditors management.
  • verification of assets and liabilities as per Balance sheet

Legal Officer I

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the Legal Officer 1 will be responsible for the following:
 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Advising the Corporation staff on legal matters affecting their undertakings and operations as sought.
  • Preparation of legal documents e.g Sale Agreements, Transfers., Charges etc
  • Attesting the Conveyancing documents and forwarding the same for signing by the Managing Director and Chairman.
  • Preparation of Plaints, defences, and all relevant pleadings for filling in Court as well as Court attendance.
  • Updates and reviews progress reports from the Corporations external Advocates legal opinion on cases
  • Providing necessary legal back up to the Corporation’s debt collection unit through Issuance of Legal Notices.

Business Liaison Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice to Management and the Board on new business opportunities and ventures.

  • Responsible for innovations, preparation of forecast proposals on new ideas and overseeing implementation.
  • Responsible for branding and marketing of all corporations developed properties and those under collaboration with partners.

Technician Engineer (EPS) (Electro Welded Mesh Line Production)

Senior Building Supervisor (One Year Contract)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of construction works in NHC projects as assigned by the project Architect and ensuring that works are carried out to specification
  • Supervise maintenance tasks on NHC developed properties.
  • Work with the contractor to ensure a safe, secure and healthy work environment by enforcing safe site procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive work environment in the site.
  • Ensuring construction projects milestone are achieved as defined in the project scope and that designs are adhered to.

Architect

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares project proposals, design and supervision of construction work as a Project Architect.

Senior Estates Officer

The Chief Procurement Officer reports to the General Manager Corporate Services and shall be responsible for all matters related to procurement of Goods, Works and Services in the Corporation. The officer shall also be responsible for disposal of obsolete and idle assets as provided in the Public Procurement and Disposal Act.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of the day to day running of the Procurement Section
  • Advising Management on all matters related to procurement of Goods, Works and Services in accordance with the applicable laws and Regulations.
  • Responsible for all procurements, preparation of Corporate Procurement Plan in addition to ensuring that the Corporation receives value for money.
  • Secretary to the Tender Committee.
