 Our client is an International organisation that provides technologies and services in more than 100 countries around the world. 

They are a trusted security provider and advise several governments. 

Job Objective:
 Our client is looking to hire an HR Assistant for the Organization. 

The ideal candidate will support the General Manager and the Finance Manager in all HR administrative tasks. 

Primary Responsibilities:

The HR Assistant performs a variety of Human Resources management tasks, Including:
  • Maintain & manage employees’ HR files
  • Organize recruiting for open posts, participate in interviews, consolidate feedback from interviewers, document final recruiting decisions, manage communication with candidates and recruitment agencies
  • Check references and coordinate background checks for shortlisted candidates
  • Manage the new employee induction process for each new hire, ensure that all required documentation is received and added to the new employee’s file
  • Generate and distribute monthly payslips and annual P9 forms.
  • Administer the company’s pension program and distribute quarterly pension statements
  • Administer the company’s obligations in statuatory programs such as NHIF, NSSF, and HELB, including filing monthly returns to these entities
  • Coordinate the semi-annual Performance & Development Interview (PDI) process and file completed, signed PDI forms
  • Manage employee requests for employment confirmation letters
  • Coordinate training requests and organize approved training & education programs for staff
  • Administer the company’s leave management system, including collection and filing of leave-related documentation
  • Maintain and continuously improve the company’s Personnel Regulations and HR policies, processes and procedures and fully support the company’s goal to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certification.
  • Support management in ensuring that all SICPA policies, including those concerning HR, Travel, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are fully followed. This includes conducting training/sensitization sessions and periodic communication to all employees.
  • Lead HR improvement projects
  • Provide any other kind of HR administrative support to employees
Skills and Certification:
  • Diploma in Human Resources Management
  • At least  two (2) years of experience in HR management
  • Good command of English
  • MS Office
  • SAP experience/skills would be an added advantage
Other Relevant Factors & Skills:
  • Good HR-related knowledge (Kenyan law, social insurances, HR systems)
