County Director Medical Services 
Job Group

Requirements
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Posses a Bachelors degree in Medicine from a recognized university in Kenya.
  • Be a member of a relevant body in the area of specialization
  • A master’s degree in relevant field.
  • Be registered with the Medical Practitioner and Dentists Board
  • A thorough understanding of Global, Regional and National Health issues
  • Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of code of conduct
  • Has ten years experience in related field of which three should be in Senior Management or Deputy Director Job group Q.
  • Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution
Duties and Responsibilities
 
The officer will be answerable to the chief officer health services, specific duties include;
  • Providing the necessary guidance, training and development and support professional and technical staff in clinical practice
  • Planning and managing county programmes directed towards the improvement of health services in county;
  • Initiating and assisting in the formulation and implementation of medical policies in the county
  • Overall supervision, training and development of staff in the department.

Assistant Director Revenue

  • Be registered with the institute of certified public accountants of Kenya (ICPAK)
  • Has Eight years experience in related field of which three should be in senior management or Job group N
  • Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directing, planning, budgeting, implementing and evaluating revenue programmes
  • Operation and Administration of Revenue departments
  • Coordination and implementation of policies and plans
  • Monitoring and reporting of activities of the revenue department
Ward Administrator (Chiakariga Ward)

Requirements
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Be a resident of Chiakariga Ward.
  • Be a holder of at least a first Degree from a University recognized in Kenya
  • Working experience of not less than five (5) years
  • Have qualifications and knowledge in Administration or Management
  • Be proficient in Computer.
  • Must be familiar with the Social, Economic and Cultural dynamics of the Ward
  • Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
Duties and responsibilities:
 
The ward administrator will be responsible to the Sub-county Administrator for the following:
  • Co-ordinating, Managing and supervising the general administrative functions in the ward unit.
  • Developing policies and plans.
  • Ensuring effective service delivery
  • Co-ordinating Development activities to empower the Community
  • Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of Public Service
  • Facilitating and co-ordinating citizen participation in the Development of policies and plans and delivery of services.
  • Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board Capacity building
