Vacancy: Store Keeper

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Stocks update on daily basis i.e. stock card and books.
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness at all times.
  • Release materials as ordered.
  • General Coordination of Stores Activities.
  • Supervising receipt and issuance materials.
  • Overseeing/maintaining the store in good order.
  • Ensuring materials delivered are of correct quantity.
  • Keeping track of materials usage, by ensuring stock movement sheet is duly recorded and properly filled.
  • Producing a daily report of the physical stocks of materials and equipment.
  • Performing any other duty that may be delegated to you by your superiors.
  • Gates pass issuance.
  • Internal re-ordering of store items.
  • Receiving materials and delivery notes from the suppliers and drivers
  • Proper record keeping of all stocks documents
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to you by your superiors.
Skills and Specifications
  • Ensuring yard safety at all times.
  • A storekeeper must be honest and reliable to his employers.
  • A Store keeper must always be prepared to work hard for the team and create favourable impression of his employer organization to the clients.
  • He must be of sound health as his job may require him to work for long hours.
  • He must undertake full responsibility for the security and safety of materials and equipment’s.
  • Proper communications skills
Education and Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in supplies and management.
  • Valid Good Conduct Certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
