Limited is one of the leading construction companies in Kenya.
We are currently undertaking major
water supply project and we are now looking for skilled and competent
individuals to fill the following positions:
Project Managers (Site Agents)
2 Positions
The Project Manager (Site Agent) is the Company's Administrator of a project worksite.
He/ She will supervise a group of
technical staff on a worksite to deliver the project on time, to set quality
standards and within set budgets.
He/ She is a team leader in project
planning and execution of the project.
The job is based is based at the
project work site which may be located anywhere within the country.
Responsibilities &
Accountabilities
- Overall accountability of managing, planning
and execution of allocated construction project.
- Supervision of a team of Engineers and Foremen
to ensure works are executed according to plan.
- Managing resources for allocated project,
including hiring appropriate staff for the site.
- Liaison with Consultants, regulators, local
authorities to ensure good working relationships are maintained.
- Accounting Officer for the project
- Ensure project activities are delivered in
line with the company's Health and Safety standards.
Education & Experience
- A degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent. A
post graduate training in project management and finance would be an added
advantage.
- A registered Engineer and/ or member of
a reputable Engineering professional body
- At least 7 years’ experience in managing civil
engineering projects.
- Proven track record of success in handling
projects involving major water works including dams, pipelines and water
treatment works.
- Proof of having successfully managed a single
water project to logical conclusion.
