Position: Direct Sales Agent
Reporting to: Shop
Manager

Market
Role Purpose: To achieve and exceed sales objectives and customer
expectations whilst adhering to Orange Shop policies and procedures.
To promote Orange products and
services, to identify customer needs and propose best solutions. To assist in
carrying all activities of the shop
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
Operational
- Promote and sell Orange services and products;
- Welcome customers into the shop and identify
customers’ needs and propose the best solutions; optimise customers’
accounts and proactively cross-sell and up-sell
- Proactive attitude to look for clients and use
all the necessary tools to achieve sales (outbound calls, etc)
- Make all necessary settings on Modems,
Routers, Phones, PC, laptops, or any other devices purchased by the
customer in order to maximise the utilisation of data or voice services;
- Establish and improve customer relations and
immediately escalate difficult situations to the shop manager
- Ensure advanced management of merchandise
stock & participate fully as required in merchandise inventory;
- Perform cash and stock management activity for
products and services
- Execute all other activities that a direct
sales agent is supposed to do in order for the shop to perform, such as:
doing technical support, dedicating a part of the time to customer care
issues, handling stocks (field work) all this on demand of the line manager
in charge
- Achieve and maintain the minimum product
knowledge score of not less than 90%
- Attend all scheduled trainings
- Participate in the weekly online quiz. The
variable commission will not be paid to staff who did not participate in
the online weekly quiz
Academic / Professional
Qualifications
- Certificate in business related field, or CPA
11 or any at least high school graduate
- at least 1 year experience in related field (
preferably sales, customer relations or merchandising)
- good knowledge of modern communication
techniques: mobile fax, data transmissions, WAP, GPRS
- very good knowledge of different handsets and
their performances
- interest for new mobile technology, awareness
of this specific market
- fluency in English and Kiswahili
- good PC skills and internet user skills

Position: Revenue Accountant
Region: Nairobi

Accounting Manager

Department: Finance
Role Purpose: Accounting for all revenue streams and ensuring billing completeness and accuracy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Role Purpose: Accounting for all revenue streams and ensuring billing completeness and accuracy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordination and analysis of billing inputs
for all services and eventual postings to the accounting system. This
ensures revenue recognition as per IAS 18.
- Verification and adjustments of any
mis-postings in accounting systems if any and passing the necessary
journal entries
- Ensuring that revenues in accounting system
agree to those of controlling sections and reconciliations where there is
a difference.
- Working closely with controlling section on
revenue reporting to enhance accuracy.
- Ensuring that all revenue streams have been
correctly accounted for in the accounting system together with the
accompanying taxes.
- Assist in financial analysis and participating
in monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting cycles.
- Determine monthly revenue forecasts and
calculations in liaison with controlling.
- Working closely with revenue assurance on
billing validations to ensure that any variances are within acceptable
confines.
- Responding to any internal and external
auditors queries
- In coordination with the various subsection
heads, review all the postings before posting to sage system. This
enhances accuracy of the posted data.
- Any other duties as may from time to time be
assigned by the head of function
Academic / Professional
Qualifications
- University graduate in related business field
( B.Com or BSc.(Business Admin.)
- Over 5 years’ experience
- QuickBooks, Sage Accounting Package
- Qualified Accountant is an added advantage
