Manage
multiple payrolls by ensuring that authorized changes are processed, all
statutory and other deductions are processed and remitted in accordance with
the prevailing laws and regulations and advice management of changes in the
laws and regulations.
Responsibilities include: Booking of Incoming and outgoing intercompany charges and Global Office Direct Charges; Preparation of GL Reconciliation; Management of Accounts Payable and Payroll Processing.
Skills
required include:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum
of CPA Part 2
- Technical
Training qualifications required: Knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes and
Sunsystems.
- Experience:
2 years of experience in an Accounting field.
- Must be
a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.

Description: Communications and Advocacy Internship – World Vision East Africa Regional
Office
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
The
East Africa Regional Office, operating in nine countries of East Africa namely;
Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and
Uganda is looking for a Communications intern to work in its Nairobi office.
This
internship aims to provide the intern with a broad understanding of
international non-governmental organisation communications functions, with
exposure to all elements of the regional office and opportunities to
collaborate with the national offices across the region and regional bodies
such as the Africa Union.
Communications Intern- Editorial and Advocacy
- Provide
editorial support to the communications team in producing reports and
publications
- Engaging
in internal communications activities for broad exposure to the
organisation
- Drafting
stories and various correspondence
- Summarising
policy documents
- Assisting
with corporate communications, and development of programme briefs and
profiles
- Supporting
processes to improve efficiency of the EARO Communications team
- Support
advocacy efforts related to our engagement with AU and generating content
related to advocacy and policy change efforts
- Event
planning and organisation
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors
degree in journalism, media and communications, humanitarian diplomacy,
international relations or related courses
- Strong
English writing, verbal and presentation skills
- Excellent
use of technology including software (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
Professional)
- 2-3
years work experience in communications and advocacy with Non-governmental
organisations
- Kenyan
National
Assets:
- Experience
in international relations, humanitarian diplomacy and working with
regional bodies
- Knowledge
of more than one language such as Arabic, French, Portuguese
Languages: Excellent oral and written English.

Communications
Intern-Multi Media and Graphic Design- World Vision East Africa Regional Office
- Work
with functional team-leads to identify compelling ideas for multimedia
stories and maintain a content pipeline
- Ensure
that content and design of online is consistent with the house style and
brand
- Manage
the online posting of the quarterly electronic newsletter, including
sourcing video content and images and advising on forms of distribution
- Expand
World Vision’s reach in East Africa by advising on use of content
distribution services
- Help
produce video material on a need basis for use on the website and in
presentations
- Report
back on web metrics, i.e. user traffic, online mentions, social media
statistics
- Support
in providing photographic content for the EARO team
- Experience
in graphic design and use of graphic design software
Qualifications
Required:
- Qualification
in multimedia, desktop designing, journalism, media and communication
courses
- Strong
English writing skills
- Excellent
use of technology including software (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
Professional)
- Graduate
intern preferred
- 2-3
years work experience in design and multimedia
- Kenyan
National
Assets:
- Experience
with online promotion, development and media interest
- Multimedia
skills such as video editing, photo management and graphic design
- Knowledge
of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Typo3, FileMaker is an advantage.
Languages: Excellent oral and written English.
