Position Responsible To: Managing Director
Overall Responsibilities:
To lead the following functions:-
·
Local and International Commercial
Activities;
·
Corporate/Sectorial/Regional Planning;
·
Corporate Performance Management;
·
Development and Review of the
Wheeling Tariff Framework; and
·
Research and Development.
Minimum Job Specifications:
·
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the
following fields:- Economics, Strategic Planning/Management, Engineering or
Commerce (Marketing, Accounts or Finance option) from a recognized institution;
·
12 years relevant experience, 5 of
which must have been in Senior Managerial position in Corporate Planning,
Business Development or Commercial Services;
·
Masters Degree in any of the
following disciplines:- MBA in Strategic Management, Planning, or Finance, MA
in Economics or Economics Policy Management;
·
Membership to a recognized
professional body;
·
Strong communication and negotiation
skills;
·
Knowledge in Development of policies
and proposals;
·
Ability to lead teams in an
environment conducive to continuous learning, creativity and innovation.

Position Responsible To: Company Secretary/ Chief Manager Legal Services
Overall Responsibility: To ensure optimum and cost-effective risk and
insurance coverage for company assets and legal liabilities arising out of the
company’s operations.
Minimum Job Specifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or in
any Social Science with a bias in Insurance;
·
Registered Member, Chartered
Insurance Institute or Registered Member, Insurance Institute of Kenya;
·
At least 7 years relevant experience;
·
Good leadership, Communication,
problem solving & negotiation skills.
Job Title: Land Economist
(2 Posts)

Division: Power System Planning and Development
Job Grade: MG 7
Position Responsible To: Senior Land Economist
Overall responsibility: To determine property values and participate in
mediation of valuation matters.
Minimum Job Specifications:
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics;
·
Registered Valuer with the Institute
of Surveyors of Kenya;
·
At least 7 years of relevant
experience in property valuation;
·
Good Communications, problem solving
& negotiation skills;
·
Ability to work without supervision;
·
Thorough research, judgement and
analytical skills.
