Vacancy: Front Office Manager -
5 Star Hotel in Nairobi
Our client, an International Hotel
Chain in Nairobi, is looking for a Front Office Manager.
The successful candidate will
coordinate and oversee the whole Front Office and provide the best service for
the hotel guests with an objective to increase the profitability of the
hotel.
He/she MUST have 5 star experience.
International experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the following departments: Rooms &
Guest Services, Reservation, Communication center and Business center.
- Maximize occupancy and average rate at all
time.
- Closely coordinate room availability with the
Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Maintain a good relationship with travel
agents and tour operators.
- Handle guest complaints professionally.
- Participate in yearly forecasting and
budgeting with senior management.
- Observe and analyzes competitive hotels.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Support and determine training programs and
prepares an annual training plans.
- Works with Training Manager to have an active
ongoing training plan in progress.
- Assist in recruiting and selecting staff.
- Conduct daily briefing and de-briefing to
heads of concerned sections.
- Complete the profit and capital expenditure
budget effectively and timely.
- Interact with clients, guests, government
officials, supplies and other important clients.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Hotel
Management or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years in Front Office experience
in a similar capacity preferably in a 5 star class environment.
- Knowledgeable in Front Office Operation.
- Have excellent English communication skills
both in written and spoken.
- Posses professional disposition with excellent
interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.
200,000 /= (Approx. 2,105 USD)depending on experience
