Vacancy: Chief Finance Officer - Arusha, Tanzania
Our client is engaged in processing
of diverse range agricultural products.
They seek to recruit a Chief
Financial Officer to define strategy and policies to increase revenue and
capacity while employing best practices in all its operations.
- Develop and implement the finance policies of
the company.
- Advise on the most prudent mechanisms for
fiduciary management.
- Ensure there are proper financial and
accounting controls.
- Advise Directors and the Board on financial
implications of business projects.
- Provide input in business planning and product
costing.
- Actively manage cash flow, projections and
forecasting.
- Analyze financial data and present financial
reports in an accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory
requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of
all fixed assets.
- Primary interface for all banking, treasury
and board-level presentations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and
regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant
field preferably augmented with an MBA.
- Must have CPA (K) ACCA preferred.
- Must have strong stakeholder management and
relationship skills.
- Must have strong financial management and
profit maximization skills.
- Strong operational experience in manufacturing
and processing entities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and
governance requirements.
- Must have a min of 10 years’ experience in a
commercial environment.
- Must be experienced in dealing with cost
management and optimization.
- Must have an understanding of private equity
fund investor issues.
- Must have strong treasury and cash management
background.
Monthly Gross Salary: competitive
remuneration depending on experience
