A well established financial institution with a countrywide coverage wishes to recruit suitable persons for the following positions:


4 Positions 

Ref: HR/ACC/8/2015

One Year Renewable Contract

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accountant will be responsible for:
  • Compiling and posting general ledger information and summaries concerning financial transactions
  • Prepare statements of accounts and for financial intermediaries and Youth groups
  • Variation of request from constituencies
  • Prepare monthly Financial Reports and statements
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with prescribed financial policies and standards
  • Reconciliation of cash book and bank statements

Qualifications and Personal Competencies
  • Bachelor Degree in any Business related courses or provide evidence of pursuing the same
  • CPA (K) or any other Accountancy Course
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a busy accounts department
  • Proven Knowledge and experience in working with computers and accounting software
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding and experience in all aspects of accounting and financial management including management of donor Funds.
  • Honesty, Integrity and creativity is a must
