We are now recruiting a Campaign
Manager to lead the strategic development, coordination and delivery of our
Safe Cities For Women Multi-Country Campaign (MCC).
As Campaign Manager you will take responsibility for the effective delivery of clearly identified external and internal objectives and outcomes for the campaign over a 5 year period.
As Campaign Manager you will take responsibility for the effective delivery of clearly identified external and internal objectives and outcomes for the campaign over a 5 year period.
This will mean coordinating
contributions and skills from ActionAid countries and across the International
Secretariat to harness the power of our Federation behind the MCC.
This will involve facilitating a
diverse cross-functional and multi-country Campaign Project Team to develop and
deliver strategy.
You will also ensure the Women’s
Rights community at country level contributes and participates as well as make
sure feminist values and language are included in implementation
activities.
You will also play a key role in
working with the International Campaign leadership team in rolling-out our
Campaign Strategic Framework.
You must have a relevant degree or equivalent experience and have excellent written and spoken English.

experience, ideally on an international level and gained in implementation and
strategic roles.
You understand how to influence
political structures and decision makers, and can demonstrate strategic
knowledge of the global political landscape.

An effective project manager you can
communicate at all levels and enjoy working in a collaborative way.

If you have extensive experience of
building partnerships and securing income from multilateral institutions and
mechanisms such as the UN, Regional Development Banks and Multi-Donor
Trust Funds, this role as Partnerships Manager with ActionAid
International is your next career move.
As Partnerships Manager you will play
a key role in increasing ActionAid’s income from multilateral
institutions.
This will require supporting
countries to develop and implement donor engagement strategies, gaining an
understanding of donor priorities and preparing compelling funding
applications.
You will help with donor relationship
management, encourage donor intelligence sharing across the Federation, act as
our champion in donor networks and forge links with like-minded NGOs and
stakeholders.
Holding a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline you will have extensive experience of building partnerships and securing income primarily from UN, Regional Development Banks, Multi-Donor Trust Funds or similar multilateral mechanisms.

With an entrepreneurial mindset, you

an expert in donor scoping and tracking external funding trends, you are
innovative and have strong grant proposal development skills, a solid track
record of developing successful competitive tender bids, and experience of
delivering multi-country consortium applications.
Self-motivated with strong
communication skills, you will be effective at mentoring, coaching and developing
people.
In addition you must be able to
demonstrate a strong commitment to promote and practice our vision, mission,
values and strategy.
If you are bi-lingual English
and French, with experience of working with/ supporting French speaking countries,
then you would have a real advantage.
