Finance Manager Job in Nairobi, Kenya (200K)

An international Hotel Chain based in Westlands is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager

He/ she will be responsible for the financial and accounting management of the hotel. 

The successful candidate must have a complete understanding of all the hotel's operation and finances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the accounts, records and transactions are accurate at all times.
  • Implement controls to safeguard the hotels assets.
  • Prepare and interpret financial reports, audits and statements of the hotel.
  • Provide financial information to the management and prepare weekly trading reports.
  • Compile budgets and forecasts covering all the hotels activities.
  • Ensure compliance with established controls and procedures.
  • Ensure that inventory of all supplies are taken on weekly/monthly basis
  • Maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with established credit and collection procedures.
  • Will be responsible for all the hotel's cash and credit revenues.
  • Carry out revenue reconciliation.
  • Prepare and process the monthly payroll for the employees and maintaining employee records.
Qualification / Skills:
  • Minimum education of Bachelors degree in accounting or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience with a miminum of 2 years within the hospitality environment.
  • Knowledgeable in PMS or EPS.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent reporting, analysis and numeracy skills.
  • Focused, well organised, flexible with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges and drive to excel.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 200,000/= (Approx. 2,222 USD)
