Vacancy Announcement: Volunteer Coordinator
Duration: Initial 6 Months (Renewable)
Supervisor: National
Executive Team (NEC) and/or their Delegate
Duties
- Project planning and implementation, including
needs assessments, setting goals and objectives.
- Mobilization of participants for all events
and activities of KMCP.
- Participate in project budget planning and
development in Conjunction with NEC.
- Establishing project work plan and schedules;
monitors, reviews and evaluates project progress.
- Proposal writing and developing concept notes
from the need analysis and sourcing for donors.
- Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes
and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
- Review the project schedule with NEC and all
other staff that will be affected by the project activities and revise the
schedule as required.
- Write activity reports on the project for NEC
and for partners.
- Monitor all budgeted project expenditures and
activities.
- Manage all project funds according to
established accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all financial records for the
project are up to date under the leadership of the National Treasurer.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting
documentation for partners as outlined in funding agreements under the
leadership of the National Treasurer.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences.
- Experience in NGO, CBO or Not-for Profit
Organization management and engagements.
- Computer literate with vast experience in
social media engagements and communications.
- Practising Catholic with a sound understanding
of the Catholic Doctrines.
Note: There is NO SALARY attached to the above
named position.
KMCP will pay a monthly stipend and
facilitate the Volunteer Coordinator to carry out his or her assigned duties.
