Job Title: Assistant Programme Manager - Health and Nutrition
 
Duty Station: Nairobi
 
Contract: One Year Renewable Subject to Availability of Funds
 
Job Summary: The incumbent will provide technical leadership and support to Nairobi County and Sub County Health Management Teams in the implementation of Maternal Newborn and Child Health and Nutrition Services within the World Health Organization’s defined building blocks for Health System Strengthening

Job Specification:
  • A degree in Health, Nursing or relevant field. Experience or a background in nutrition is an added advantage
  • At least four (4) years’ experience in Maternal Neonatal and Child Health with at least three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • An understanding of Emergency Obstetric Neonatal Care and knowledge and experience in MoH systems at County level and working with and through local partners
Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Health and Nutrition
 
Duty Station: Nairobi
 
Contract: One Year Renewable Subject to Availability of Funds
 
Job Summary: The incumbent will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Ministry of Health (MoH) and local partners to Nairobi’s Sub Counties in the implementation of Health and Nutrition Services within the World Health Organization’s defined building blocks for Health System Strengthening
 
Job Specification:
  • A degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a strong clinical background in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition programming in both a development and emergency context
  • Knowledge and experience in MoH systems at County level and working with and through local partners and community based health care
