Job Title: Marketing & Customer Service Officer

A growing Financial Institution (Members’ owned Sacco) in Nairobi is seeking vibrant, self-motivated and qualified person for the above post

Role Objective
  • Ensure client and potential clients’ ultimate satisfaction with the company’s services.
  • Proactively manage the marketing platform of the company
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage productive working relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing / potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals / quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies competition and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Supplies management with written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Identify, plan and participate in marketing events
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
  • Provide coordination and administrative support in the operations of the company
  • Manage the online marketing platform for the company

Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Business/ or related field or equivalent education
  • 2 years’ experience in Sales, involving achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Proven track record of successfully achieving KPIs and meeting/exceeding quota.
