IBTCI’s Somalia Program Support
Services program contract is seeking an Office
Assistant to provide daily administrative
support to its field office located in Nairobi, Kenya.
Responsibilities:
The office assistant will be
responsible for
- Answering phones and greeting visitors;
- Coordinating meetings and prepare meeting
notes as needed;
- Develops / refines administrative procedures
for use throughout SPSS;
- Provide operational support as needed; assist
in ensuring that all program documents are appropriately filed;
- Maintain and schedule the calendar;
- Assist in the orientation of new employees;
expertly manage assigned task lists.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and command of English and
Somali language is required.
- The applicant must poses one to two years of previous
work experience;
- Experience with international development
preferred;
- Excellent written and oral communication
skills;
- Well-organized, attentive to detail, skilled
in meeting deadlines, and ability to manage
- Multiple tasks; pro-active in anticipating
work requirements and problem solving;
- Mastery of Microsoft Office and experience
with using and researching the Internet.
