Graphic Design Intern

Inspire Communications and Awareness Network (ICAN) is enlisting an aspiring Graphic Designer to work with our team. 

We are looking for a fresh, creative and enthusiastic intern who has a passion for graphic design and is ready to have real world experience and a chance to build a portfolio with professional projects. 

This role is a good opportunity to broaden your horizons and to jump start your career.

Responsibilities

• Visual conceptualization, design and execution of both print and digital projects including: Advertisements, Brand materials, Magazines/Newsletters, Web production, Event designs.
• Create design mock-ups according to specified deliverables.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce materials for events, social media and advertising campaigns.
• Edit and retouch photos to required specifications.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and presentations.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Competency Profile

• Creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
• Ability to create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate.
• Reliable, highly motivated and driven team player.
