suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in
the world’s poorest countries.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the
following position:
Job Title: Finance Officer - Partners
Duty Station: Marsabit
Duration: Open Ended Contract
Job Summary: The incumbent will enable Concern’s Partners
to demonstrate proper financial management and optimal use of available funds
in a transparent manner.
This will include pre-assessment of
partner financial capacity, monitoring of partner expenditure and performance,
partner and staff capacity building in line Concern’s financial policy and
procedures.
Job Specification:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA III or equivalent professional
certification
- At least two (2) years’ experience working in
an international NGO. Experience in auditing is an added advantage.
- Proficient in at least one accounting
software, Word and Excel applications
- Excellent ability to pay attention to details
and a team player who is able to work under pressure
