Job Vacancy: Customer Relations Associate

Location: Nairobi

Company Description: Fast-growing renewable energy company based in Nairobi.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Identifying potential micro-grid sites and completing resulting reports.
  • Assisting the micro-grid Engineering Associate in signing up customers, mapping villages and all reporting associated.
  • Reporting your work to the Engineer Associate and Business Development Associate.
  • Assist in training of micro-grid users.
  • Efficient management of materials and tools required for your work.
  • Providing post-installation customer service to micro-grid customers.
  • Managing the company's micro-grid customer care phone.
  • Data gathering and analysis on the performance and customer behavior of company's operational micro-grids.
  • Accounting activities such as the organization and filing of receipts and tax payments.
  • Travelling throughout Kenya and East Africa to assist in site assessments and installations for micro-grids.
Other tasks and responsibilities may be asked of you – we are looking for a dynamic individual who is willing to help out wherever is needed in a fast-paced growing company.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years work experience
  • Experience in sales & marketing a plus.
  • Field work experience highly preferred.
  • Fluent in Kiswahili and English, both in written and oral communications. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intelligent and eager to learn. 
  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Hardworking and honest.
  • Enthusiasm in working for the field of renewable energy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexible and eager to lend a hand wherever needed, even if a specific task may fall outside the core job description.
