Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for rent collection from the
clients.
- Ensuring there is electricity at all times
including supervising the effectiveness of the back-up generator,
monitoring electricity meter readings, water meter readings and following
up of 3rd party invoices.
- Coordinating with other outsourced companies
such as security companies, cleaning companies, maintenance contracts and
landscaper to ensure they provide services that meet the tenants
requirements and expectations.
- Following up on all repair issues from getting
quotations, facilitating LPO’s and ensuring the third parties doing the
repairs provide a great service.
- Ensuring repair work is completed in time and
with minimal interruption to the tenants.
- Accounting for all petty cash used on site.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a caretaker in a real
estate firm
- Diploma in Facilities Management.
- Must be fluent in English & Swahili
language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of
composition, and grammar.
- Strong Organisation and supervision skills
- Understanding technical information, building
construction and design
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical
procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and
records, and other office procedures and terminology
- Must be attentive to details
- Knowledge of industry changes in regards to
issues affecting security
- Ability to maintain confidential information
