An up and coming fashion design house
in Kenya is looking for an Administration
Assistant (Intern)who will be responsible for
maintaining the day to day administrative functions of the company in a
professional, organized and controlled manner.
Location: Nairobi Position Responsibilities
- Process incoming telephone calls in a timely
and professional manner
- Ensure that the store is open and closed on
time.
- Offer social media support by promoting the
product both on the various social media platforms including blogging.
- Offer customer service services by taking
product orders and following up on the same.
- Maintain office filing and storage systems
- Process invoices for payment to vendors and
conduct debt collection from clients.
- Update and maintain databases such as mailing
lists, contact lists and client information
- Co-ordinate and organize appointments and
meetings
- Order/maintain adequate supply levels; make
orders for production materials as needed.
- Ensure that the website is up to date with new
products
- Occasional visit potential clients to make sales
presentations or serve as booth support for industry trade shows and
fashion events.
- Assist in market research, including research
on current trends and crafting new product ideas
- Perform work related errands as requested
Skills and Knowledge:
- Relevant Education Qualifications (Fashion,
Business Admin, PR etc)
- Passion for fashion
- Actively engaged in social media and can write
engaging articles for the website.
- Highly driven and attentive to detail
- Strong communication (verbal & written)
and organizational skills.
- Understanding of administrative functions in a
retail environment
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Strong problem solving ability.
