Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Purpose: Plan and establish marketing and retail strategies for purchasing, strategic sourcing, demand planning, forecasting, integrated supply chain functions, materials handling and inventory control
Job Description
  • Developing sales and marketing strategies
  • Provide leadership to insure customer service and marketing strategy without compromising company profitability.
  • Provide executive management detailed analysis, modeling, pricing and business maintenance and growth strategies.
  • Coordinate communication and activities between all sales personnel toward accomplishing organizational goals.
  • Conduct sufficient research to develop a full awareness of market requirements and competitor products to adjust products and plans in line with potential threats.
  • Overseeing teams of field sales and tele - sales representatives, hiring, training and evaluating the team.
  • Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan,
  • Meeting marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Determining annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions

Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelors scientific degree or equivalent (Biology, biochemistry or immunology background)
  • Over 5 years experience in sales &Marketing/ health and pharmaceutical products.
  • Background in pharmaceutical preferred
  • Financial Planning and Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Positioning, People Management, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships, Creative Services
  • Computer proficient especially in excel
  • Excellent management, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team - co-ordinate field reps and internal tele sales team
  • Ability to execute projects/plans with minimum supervision
  • Ability to streamline operations
  • Degree holder in a related field
  • Basic finance knowledge - manage budget allocation

Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Purpose: Contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks, overseeing budgeting and accounting.

Job Description
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including withholding Payments, Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, etc.
  • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor.
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
  • Providing and interpreting financial information;
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
  • Analyzing change and advising accordingly
  • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

  • Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
  • Manage the bookkeeping function, using the Simply Accounting Package, including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure.
  • Participate as a member of the Finance Committee.
  • Assist the Executive Director with the financial reporting as required at Board meetings
Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Finance from a recognized institution
  • ACCA/CPA professional qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in financial management with working experience of the Pharmaco  Software
  • Experience in managing a  finance department team
  • Ability to advise on improving profitability
  • Ability to prepare budgets
  • Excellent Organizational skills - filing, timely payments
  • Assertive, Presentable, Flexibility with working hours
  • Ability to design financial procedures and streamline operations
