Job Title:
 Internal Auditor 
 
Reports To: Head of Internal Audit

Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out independent assessment of business and operational risks
  • Assist in developing and implementing audit plans, programs and tests.
  • Reviewing existing internal control systems and procedures
  • Assisting in ensuring efficient use and accounting for company assets and safeguarding against loss.
  • Assist in assessing whether all the business units within the group comply with group policies and procedures.
  • Assist in assessing whether all the business units within the group comply with various government legislations and laws that regulate the respective businesses.
  • Prepare audit findings on all observations for review by Group Audit, Risk and Compliance manager and address all review questions.
  • Participate in assets count and verification
  • Maintain audit working papers and risk based audit test for each assignment.
  • Conduct system documentation for each business cycle.
  • Test adequacy and effectiveness of systems in place.
  • Carry out investigations as directed by Group Audit, Risk and Compliance Manager
  • Conduct ad hoc assignments
Academic Qualifications
  • Business degree with a bias in accounting/finance or other related field.

Job Title: Assistant Internal Auditor

Reports To: Manager

Main Responsibilities
  • Internal control and checks to mitigate risks
  • Determine compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Establishes risk-based audit programs
  • Applies generally accepted auditing standards to a firm’s internal controls and ensures these controls are adequate & functional.
  • Review a company’s financial reporting systems to confirm adherence to generally accepted accounting principles honestly and faithfully audit the books and records, and shall report all audit exceptions with recommendations.
  • Prepares and analyzes and reconciles and conduct verifications regarding accounts being examined.
  • Conducts surprise cash counts on company treasury on a frequent basis.
  • Conducts system review to assess its effectiveness and efficiency and recommends necessary actions to improve deficient condition.
  • Prepares and maintains the audit planning worksheet for every engagement and weekly accomplishment report.
Academic Qualifications

Job Title: Loan Officers 
 
Reports To: Head of Credit

Main Responsibilities
  • Receive loan applications and process them.
  • Analyze loan applicants financial status, credit history, and property evaluations where need be to determine feasibility of granting loans.
  • Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services 
  • Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.
  • Preparing timely reports on the loan portfolio for the credit committee meetings
  • Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them and work with clients to identify their financial goals and to find ways of reaching those goals
  • Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans
  • Follow up loan collection/recoveries  from the clients

Job Title:Procurement Officer

Reports To: Head of Procurement

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the head of  procurement
  • Coordinate requisitions with the SBU’s
  • Monitor and track consignments/goods
  • Work with the suppliers on minimizing lead times, competitive sourcing and optimization.
  • Liaise with all the stake holders to fast track purchases
  • Liaise with supermarket heads to have goods requisitioned, sourced, procured and delivered.
  • Liaise with warehouse team on proper storage of goods.
  • Expedite all deliveries and ensure dispatches are effectively executed.
  • Oversee stock take and variance reconciliations
