1. Overall responsibility of the
agencies’ in-house ERP system in the region; and driving the information
systems agenda of the agencies especially as relates the adoption of new
technologies;
2. Complementing finance decisions that aim at process and revenue optimisation and cost reduction;
3. Continuously working with all departmental heads to review finance and business processes and make sure that they are as lean as possible, and where required, propose alternative process flows;
4. Providing key decisions support, monitoring risks and identifying controls as well as be involved in creating the mitigation plans;
5. Ensuring that IT general controls meet the standard information systems audit and best practice requirements in the region;
6. Driving quality, testing and delivery of system modifications;
7. As the project owner for all new information system projects, the successful incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing process analysis and design, gap analysis, functional system design and specifications, system configuration, the development of system tests and procedures, conducting parallel runs, as well as maintaining project documentation.

Requirements
An undergraduate degree, either in
Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a related
technical field.
Three years of experience working with ERP systems and at least one year experience as a computer programmer.
Three years of experience working with ERP systems and at least one year experience as a computer programmer.
The candidate will need to be a
certified consultant preferably with Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Sage
500.
S/he will also be expected to have
good working experience with report writing tools such as Crystal Reports and
will need to have expertise with SQL and MS Excel, and at least a basic
understanding of web programming environment.
Very good knowledge of finance, specifically ACCA or CPA qualification, as well as working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese, will be an added advantage.
The successful candidate will also need to have experience as project lead for at least one full cycle during the implementation of a leading ERP system for a mid-sized or large organisation and will need to have an established track record managing multiple projects.
The role requires travel up to 50% of time, within the region.
