Location: Rift Valley & Kisumu
Job Purpose: To contribute to the dissemination of solar energy by maximizing the sales of our products, often in partnership with financial institutions who provide consumer financing.
To ensure prospects
are taken through the sales process in a timely fashion, receivables are
collected on time and customers are satisfied by providing adequate
installation and after sales service.
Specifically you will:

- Forecast
sales accurately
- Close
sales on a consistent basis and in line with credit and delivery terms
- Meet
monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and grow sales month by
month
- Identify
and map sales areas and conduct sales demos
- Manage
financing partners and franchisees nationwide
- Train
franchisees and financing partners on how to sell, install and service
- Ensure
complaints and after-sales service issues and repairs are managed in time
and to the satisfaction of the customers
- Meet
high ethical standards in line with the company culture
- Report
to the Vice President Africa on a daily basis
Requirements
- Proven
track-record of meeting revenue/ collection targets
- Willing
to travel extensively in sales territory, at least 15-20 (every) days per
month
- Strong
team player, able to build and motivate a sales team
- A
go-getter, who can take initiative and work independently
- Energetic,
enthusiastic, innovative, passionate
- Excellent
communication and presentation skills
- Able to
connect with people and obtain their trust and respect
- Experience
in solar, agriculture, insurance, microfinance, fast moving consumer goods
industries will be an added advantage
- 1-6
years of sales experience. Candidates with experience in direct selling
preferred
- Managerial
experience preferred, especially if grown from sales executive level to
sales manager level
