To support our growth strategy, we are looking for dynamic, proactive Kenyan professionals with strong credentials and relevant work experience to fill the positions below to be stationed in various branches within Nairobi and upcountry.

Branch Operations Officers
 
The operations officer through teamwork will effectively handle the operations functions at the Branch level.

Key Duties
  • Ensures branch operational activities run smoothly and efficiently;
  • Provide leadership, training and limited supervision within the branch;
  • Promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate personnel for new services;
  • Checking, authorizing and confirming all entries in accordance with the laid down procedures.
  • Perform limited supervisory duties as assigned by the Branch Manager, and may perform in various capacities, such as a new accounts representative, teller, or safe custody and deposits attendant as appropriate.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Up to 2 years banking experience as a bank officer.
  • Should have thorough knowledge of banking operations.
  • Should be honest and of unquestioned integrity.
  • Should be attentive to detail.
  • Have an excellent interpersonal, organizing and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Branch Operations Manager
 
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for running effective branch operations leading to provision of excellent customer service, profitability and business growth.

Main Duties:


  • Oversee and implement the Bank strategy at the branch level.
  • Oversee customer service delivery, maintenance and improvement of retail banking service standards.
  • Branch Operations- clearing, payments, alternate delivery channels, cash management and monitoring and ensuring entire branch reconciliation is up-to-date
  • Facilitate effective relationship management for external and internal customers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements with regards to banking environment.
  • Ensure that call back in the core banking system is done on daily basis to ensure correctness of all transactions
Minimum Qualification and Experience Required:
  • Minimum B Plain or equivalent,
  • University Degree – Upper second or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer use including MS Office tools and banking systems
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years working experience with solid knowledge of Bank Operations.
  • A team player with ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must be flexible in availability and mobility to perform required job functions
