Positions Overview: Our client, Oryx International General Services Co., Ltd. has an urgent requirement for 32 technical and management staff at a leading Dairy Farm in Libya with a dynamic value addition facility in Misrata. 

We are seeking out going, mature, self-driven, go getter professionals to take up the positions:

Water Treatment Operator 
3 Positions
Job Description
  • Monitor the proper functionality of Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant facilities.
  • Conduct water quality checks such as measuring pH, conductivity, Hardness, turbidity, TDS…
  • Perform the auto and manual backwashing of sand filters, chemical cleaning of membranes and changing line filters in R.O plant.
  • Write daily report of entire shift and coordinate with immediate superior regarding status of plant operation and water quality test results
Skills / Experience
  • At least two years experience in operating Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment and Effluent Water Treatment facilities.
  • Knowledge on water quality testing apparatus such as measuring pH, conductivity, hardness, turbidity, TDS,
  • Educational Background : Diploma in Engineering Technology
  • Proficient in English communication
Water Treatment Deputy Supervisor
1 Position

Job Description
  • Supervise operator and technician for operation and maintenance of water treatment R.O and waste water treatment plant facilities. 
  • Perform maintenance activities covered by the section and coordinates with direct superior regarding modifications or improvements to be implemented within the plant premises
  • Organize and arrange ordering of spare parts for the section
  • Submit report on the status of the section , pending jobs, and spare parts
Skills/Experience
  • At least 3 years experience in handling Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment and Effluent Treatment facilities.
  • Knowledge on water quality testing apparatus
  • Knowledge in performing modifications in water treatment facilities
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Graduate in Engineering course
General Terms of Engagement for all Positions
  1. Working hours are 8 hours per day, 6 days per week (Friday is the off day);
  2. 30 days paid vacation per year/ annual leave;
  3. Engagement is on one year & renewable contracts;
  4. Insurance cover is provided for work antecedents;
  5. The salary & benefits depend on the qualifications, position and experience, thus it could be vary from one candidate to another;
  6. The company will provide accommodation for all foreign employees with Security;
  7. A return flight ticket to Libya is paid by the company once a year;
  8. For Visa applications and processing, the fees for the Candidate Country (including Libyan embassy ) will be paid by the candidate himself while the fees in Libya for the immigration office will be paid by the company;
  9. The location of the company in Misrata City, northern Libya;
