The Position
The position holder will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be responsible for:

  • Business development including lead identification, proposal development and follow ups;
  • Timely execution and coordination of HR consulting projects;
  • Enforcement of Altima Africa’s project management and quality assurance process;
  • Participation on research that drives the firm’s thought leadership;
  • Coordinating tasks undertaken with part time consultants;
The Ideal candidate should:
  • Hold a University Degree in a business related field with an emphasis in HR
  • Have at least 5 years work experience with a good mix of experience
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Human Resource certification and recruitment experience will be an added advantage

Altima is seeking to recruit a self driven and ambitious individual for the Senior Business Consultant position in its Consulting Division.

Minimum Requirements
  • Hold a University Degree in a business related field or economics;
  • Hold an Masters in Business Administration
  • Have at least 5 years work experience, particularly in consulting and financial management;
Job Specification 

The position holder will be reporting to the Principal Consultant, Consulting Division. 

(S)He will be responsible for:
  • Undertaking reviews including client and stakeholders interviews and, consultatively, proposing solutions to client problems;
  • Preparing client briefs by defining business requirements; Consulting with clients on Strategy Implementation, Change Management, Organisational reviews, Performance Management and the Redefinition of Business processes.
  • Preparing client reports with regard to consulting including ensuring that projects are delivered to client specifications and within the set timelines
  • Undertaking business development work including lead identification, sales follow ups and deals closure as well as coordinating tasks undertaken with part time consultants
  • Planning, designing and carrying out industry research, including competitive and financial analysis that is relevant to the business and our clients;
  • Compilation of market intelligence reports;
Competencies
  • Demonstrate leadership, financial and project management skills;
  • Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to develop and deliver high quality research;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Professional qualifications in Accounting or Human Resource will be an added advantage.

  • Enforcement of Altima Africa’s project management and quality assurance process;
  • Coordinating tasks undertaken with part time consultants;

  • Have at least 4 years work experience with a good mix of experience
