An investment Ltd company located in
Nairobi involved in working with Investment companies and Petrol station
business activities is looking to fill the position of a Shop Customer Attendant.
The Shop Customer Attendant will
report to the Station Manager.
Job Purpose: Attend to the shop customer’s needs, inquiries and
accounting for all the purchases and payments made. The main responsibility of
the SCA is the provision of service and assistance to customers at the shop
Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining customers through
offering quality service.
- Merchandising and fronting. Make sure the
coffee equipment is working and full of product. Make sure that hot food
display cases are working and have an appropriate amount of product.
- Handling any customer complaints arising at
the shop.
- Housekeeping at the shop which involves
cleaning and dusting the shelving (gondoliers) and restocking products,
cleaning the vault and display case shelving, cleaning glass on the vault
doors and display cases. Make sure the microwave oven is clean and
working, sweep and mop the floor, pick up trash and litter, empty the
trash containers and wash the windows.
- Check supplies of paper bags, credit card
slips, and any other sale enhancing products.
- Maintain count and order sheets for key
products.
- Starting and closing a sale (when responsible
for the till).
- Carrying out any other operational functions
that may be assigned to you by the Shop Manager and Management from time
to time.

- Accountability for money.
- Sales targets.
- Comments received from customers on service.
- Mystery Shopper reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Form 4 KCSE Certificate or Equivalent.
- Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Book keeping, stock management and
administrative skills desirable.

- Strong organizational and communication skills
