The Company: We are a fast growing microcredit organization located in
Muranga town with branches coming up in other towns in the region.
In line with business
demands driven by our rapid growth, we are looking for qualified, highly
competent, talented and results oriented individuals to fill the position of a Credit Officer.
- Develops
loan applications by evaluating applicant information and documentation at
the branch level.
- Appraising
and advising members on loan eligibility while ensuring completeness of
loan application forms and
adequacy of information provided.
- Monitor
loan repayments at the Branch Level and initiate/recommend course of
action.
- Conduct
client visits (on a need basis) and telephone calls to follow up on
payments from debtors.
- Daily
monitor and manage areas for all disbursed loans to ensure full repayment.
- Ensuring
compliance of loan procedures as per the legal requirements and internal
lending policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong
sales and marketing skills.
- Good
analytical skills.
- Excellent
360 degree interpersonal skills.
- Strong
and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Be
self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications
- Diploma
in Business studies or any related field.
- Minimum
of 1 years banking experience in credit department.
Individuals with experience in selling bank products will have
an added advantage.
