Candidates are sought to fill the following position based in Nairobi.
 
Management Accountant
 
The position is responsible for integrating and aligning financial management, management accounting, cost accounting and management reporting functions in line with policies, procedures and disciplines including business strategy and operating model to enable the effective appraisal of the company’s actual performance against targets.
 
Key accountabilities:
  • Governance and internal controls through identifying, developing and implementing management accounting policies, procedures and controls.
  • Analyzing, reporting and monitoring the business performance through timely variance analysis and reporting. Interpreting trends and indicators, and advise management on corrective actions.
  • Ensuring the completeness of costing transactions.
  • Continuously advise on improvement in the efficiency of the information capturing and interfacing processes.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the operations master data and ensuring that critical data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitoring activity based pricing to ensure accurate standard pricing and report on deviations from standards.
  • Support the planning process by coordinating, compiling, monitoring and reporting on the operations budget.
  • Ad hoc assistance to strategic business units in terms of information analysis to facilitate decision making.
The ideal candidate will be in possession of a Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field and professional accountancy certification (CPA/ACCA/CMA), Audit Manager experience with 7 to 10 years post qualification progressively responsible experience, preferably in cost or management accounting. 

In addition, the candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. 

Specific knowledge required includes in-depth computer applications and proficiency in using spreadsheets.

Senior Sales Representative

 
The purpose of this job is to contribute to the success of the company by implementing the company’s
channel strategy to achieve regional sales growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Keep abreast with current market trends, monitor customer activities, gather market information and grow customer base.
  • Carry out market surveys and sales trends reviews to identify customer needs relative to existing products and new products requirements.
  • Providing input to and implementing the retail and channel strategies to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Providing input on the strategic direction to ensure the communication, implementation and execution of marketing programs.
  • Identifying potential for expansion and relocation of existing sites to maximize trade potential.
  • Championing change to support the company’s expansion programme.
  • Maintain existing business, by developing understanding of customer requirements, measure and monitor improvements to service levels provided to customers
  • Plan regular visits to customers and prepare clear objectives for visits by reviewing business reports, products used and organizing safety audits.
  • Continually focus on improvement of business performance, secure long term supply agreements with major customers and monitor performance against sales plans and targets.
  • Optimising corporate policies and procedures to ensure effective management of key controllable expenses.
The successful candidate will be in possession of a tertiary and post graduate qualification. 

It is essential that applicants have 3-5 years experience in dealing with resellers and distributors.

The person will demonstrate skills in customer service delivery, business acumen, financial acumen, people management, key account management, strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, advanced computer skills and presentation skills. 

Specific knowledge required includes sales techniques, marketing techniques and negotiating strategies.

Sales Representative Medical
 
The purpose of the job is to grow customer base and provide excellent customer service.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals and follow through implementation of the new contracts and develop sound relationships.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of medical equipment and sale of consumables with emphasis on anaesthetist machines and incubators.
  • Conduct demos on company products at customer site and provide creative solutions in application of the products in the industry.
  • Maintain existing customers, plan regular visits and prepare clear objectives for visits by reviewing reports on products used.
  • Keep abreast with current trends, competitor activity and gather information on business trends.
  • Maintain current business.
  • Manage customer service improvement system and provide customer satisfaction through dedication to customer relationships and services.
  • Advise customers on safe handling, storage and use of cylinders in a manner consistent with company SHEQ principles and policies.
The successful candidate will be in possession of a diploma in medical technology with extensive experience in related field. 

The person will demonstrate skills in customer service delivery, business acumen, strong communication skills, and interpersonal skills. 

Specific knowledge required includes sales techniques, marketing techniques and negotiating strategies.
