Administrative Assistant Job in Kenya

A local company is looking for a high caliber and motivated person to fill the post of Administrative Assistant.

The following are the requirements for the position:

Job Purpose: The administrative Assistant shall be responsible for is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support in order to ensure that Company services are provided in an effective and efficient manner

Duties / Responsibilities:
·                     Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone: answering or referring inquiries.
·                     Responds to public queries.
·                     Directs visitors by maintaining employee register at the reception.
·                     Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with the security procedures, rules and regulations.
·                     Receive, direct and relay telephone messages.
·                     Direct the visitors to the appropriate staff member.
·                     Receive, open and date stamp and distribute the incoming correspondence.
·                     Maintain the general filing of various correspondences.
·                     Assists in planning and preparation of meetings, taking minutes
·                     Maintaining an adequate inventory of office supplies.
·                     Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment.
·                     Maintain continuity among work team by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
·                     Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and needed.
·                     Support the Executive Director
·                     Perform other related duties as required

·                     Highly motivated, results oriented, driven.

Requirements of the role
Business, Secretarial or Administration qualifications or any other relevant qualification
