NGO Internship Opportunities

Impacting Youth Trust is a start-up trust that is youth driven to generate youth driven solutions to problems unique to the youth.

It is based in Nairobi and targets 13 to 35 year olds.

With the expansion of our projects, we are currently looking for young passionate individuals to join our organization as unpaid interns in the following capacities:

1. Part-Time Journalism Intern

Academic Qualifications: Degree in Journalism / Media & Mass communication or possess related degree in accredited universities

2. Full-Time Media Support Staff

Academic Qualifications: Degree in film and Animations or possess related degree from accredited universities

3. Part-Time Graphics Design Intern

Academic Qualifications: Diploma in Graphics design, or be enrolled in a diploma program in graphic design from an accredited institution

4. Full Time I.T intern

Academic Qualification: Degree in information technology or possess related degree from accredited university

Other Qualifications
  • Professional Qualifications: Fluency in English and Swahili is a must.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in computer skills
  • Additional Skills: The applicant should be self-driven, attentive to detail, able to work with little supervision, reliable, able to multi task and flexible.
  • Should be able to carry out a professional interview (Journalism intern).

Duration: Interns must commit to 3 months or more.
