Director
Department: Management
Main Duty: The Finance Director’s
responsibilities will be to ensure that internal accounting processes are
robust and adequately implemented. Further, shall ensure that business and
financial control frameworks are in place and that internal and external governance
requirements are met
- Ensure integrity in financial and management reporting
- Preparing and updating the company’s fixed asset statement.
- Manage annual audits, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Implementing continuous financial audit and control systems
- Preparing annual budgets, financial plans, feasibility studies and all other financial documents, including forecasts
- Reporting and Regulatory compliance
- Advise the Board and Management on financial matters
- Provide leadership in the formulation and implementation of financial management strategies and policies
- Provide leadership in implementation of the Balanced Scorecard and tracking of performance
- Oversee the continuous development and implementation of sound financial management systems
- Lead and develop staff in the department
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounts/Finance
- Professional qualification : CPA-K or ACCA
- 4-6 years’ experience, one which the candidate must have served as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager preferably in the hotel industry.
