Coffee Barista

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to;
  • Provide quality beverage and food products consistently for customers by adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
  • Provide top quality espresso shots for hot and cold beverages.
  • Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a ‘customer comes first’ attitude and connecting with the customer. Discover and respond to customer needs.
  • Follow company operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.
  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Contribute to the profitability of the Café by finding new methods of selling products.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Restaurant manager from time to time.

The position is challenging and calls for a dynamic, confident, aggressive and forward thinking person with the following attributes;
  • Aged between 23 and 35 years.
  • Holder of a certificate or above in Hotel Management from Kenya Utalii College or any other internationally recognised hotel training institution.
  • At least two years experience in a similar position, preferably from a five star establishment or coffee house.
  • Ability to create good rapport with the guests and to be extremely courteous and friendly at all times.
  • Ability to work without supervision and achieve goals beyond the minimum set standards.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a high standard of work performance.
  • Computer literate.

Casino Dealers

Reporting to the Gaming Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for:
  • Dealing assigned games i.e. Roulette, Poker, Pontoon, Black Jack e.t.c
  • Providing excellent customer service to casino clientele.
  • Game protection, maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice and ensure betting in compliance with game rules and limits.
  • Protect the company assets at all times as required.
  • Inform the supervisor as and when need be to control the gaming.
  • Assist the guests with questions regarding casino activities or refer to appropriate manager.

Candidates are required to meet the qualifications below:-
  • ‘O’ level education with good passes in English and Mathematics.
  • 5 years experience in dealing from a reputable Casino.
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Professional attitude and presentable at all times.
  • Fluent in spoken English and Kiswahili

Restaurant Manager

Reporting to the F&B Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for;
  • Planning, organizing and coordinating the workforce and resources of the restaurant for the efficient and profitable service of food and beverage.
  • Achievement of restaurant operational objectives, implementing productivity, quality and customer service standards, resolving problems; determining system improvements and implementing change in the respective outlet.
  • Meeting restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditure, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Co-ordinating new menus in consultation with outlet chefs.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations and maintaining a comfortable and secure environment at the restaurant.
  • Maintaining ambience by controlling light, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Work schedule and training of Restaurant staff.

The position is challenging and calls for a dynamic, confident, aggressive and forward thinking person with the following attributes;
  • Currently working in a leading fast food establishment of repute.
  • Aged between 30 and 40 years.
  • Holder of an advanced certificate, diploma or degree in Hotel Management from Kenya Utalii College or any other internationally recognised hotel training institution.
  • At least five years experience in a similar position, preferably from a five star establishment. International exposure is an added advantage.
  • Ability to create good rapport with the guests and to be extremely courteous and friendly at all times.
  • Ability to work without supervision and achieve goals beyond the minimum set standards for the hotel.
  • Ability to set the highest personal standards of work performance
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Must be Computer literate with knowledge of the latest version of Fidelio hotel management system.
