Associates is currently in the process of recruiting a Sales & Business Development Intern
for an international organization currently setting up in Kenya.
The incumbents will be responsible
for the following:
- Liaise with the Sales & Business Development Manager in the development of ideas and creation of offers Develop for direct sales and marketing the company’s products;
- Create and maintain a prospect list using the company system and sales pipeline tool;
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries via mail, telephone, and personal visits;
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support;
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information;
- Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys;
- Qualify leads in order for sales to consistently have “warm” prospects;
- Contributing to the business’ achievement of monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and sales;
- Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes;
- Liaise and attend meetings with the Sales & Business Development Manager to perform duties and aid business and organizational development;
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
The successful candidate should have
the following qualifications:-
- Bachelors degree in Sales or Marketing;
- At least six (6) months business development or sales experience;
- High level of proficiency in spoken and written and spoken English;
- Excellent telephone manner and presentation;
- Confident on the telephone with good manners;
- Excellent Customer Service;
- Experience selling products or services a bonus.
