Reporting to: Chief Executive

Scope: Trading division of
Electricals
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business growth opportunities and implement action plans for the achievement of such plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to all staff working under him to meet company goals
- Review and implement business plan for the Branch
- Constantly review market conditions on competition, threats, opportunities and submit suggestions of improvement
- Ensure effective stock management and stock control systems are fully implemented
- Advise on the requirements of the Branch for inclusion in monthly overseas purchases
- Motivate, develop and ensure optimal productivity of staff and monitoring performance through the performance management system in place.
- Ensure accounts are maintained up to date in the system and timely submission of the monthly accounts.
- Ensure first class customer service, driven through people, ICT and continuous service innovation.
- Provide leadership and ensure a high performance culture for all staff through continuous performance management, quality training, mentorship and capacity building.
- Safeguard and maintain company assets
- Any other duty assigned to you from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achievement of all budgeted financial targets including turnover, profitability, working capital parameters, stock days, and growth targets.
- Adherence/achievement operational plans
- Oversees management of cash flow
- Adherence to Staff training and development.
- Level of employee satisfaction and acceptable levels of staff turnover through people management
- Adherence to a customer visit plan
- Monthly physical stock status
- Tender submission report
- Collection report in liaison with branch Accountant
- Daily delivery report
- Monthly random stock check and variance analysis report with corrective action

Required:

- Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or business related
- 7 years' experience in managing branch operations of a trading division
