Management Trainees Job in Kenya

Our Client is an international company with over 20 Years experience in creating software for large, small and medium businesses.

The company is currently setting up in Kenya and they are looking for management trainees who will learn and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic
  • Responsible for the success of the partner’s business by ensuring that they adopt pro-active approach in their business.
  • Activities include doing events, doing trainings, one-to-one meetings with customers, implementations, participating in forums, maintaining relationships etc.
  • Ensure that partner defines success for themselves by having a business plan in place based on past data, performance and future aspirations.

Operational-Partner lifecycle management
  • Ensure that the new partners are brought in the eco-system in the focus geography and are screened for the fitment defined in the guidelines.
  • Ensure that during induction the right message goes to each partner as per the business model, products and priorities of the partner.
  • Ensure that the message and approach used in the initial buy-in of the partner is sensitive to their business style and reality so that the engagement is impactful for generating genuine, long term and intrinsic participation of the partner.
  • Stage based engagement frame will be helpful in ensuring this outcome.
  • Ensure that the intent and concept of various partner related processes are explained to the relevant partners whenever required.
  • Resolve minor escalations and routine issues of partners.
  • Ensure that any important matter / conflict is escalated  for further resolution.

Partner development and growth
  • While engaging with the partner for pursuing development, ensure that the right message goes to each partner as per the business model, products and priorities of the partner.
  • Ensure that the message and approach used in the initial buy-in of the partner is sensitive to their business style and reality so that the engagement is impactful for generating genuine, long term and intrinsic participation of the partner.
  • Stage based engagement frame will be helpful in ensuring this outcome.
  • Assist the partner in understanding and interpreting the objective and usage of business analysis and planning tool.
  • Assist the partner in creating the business plan leading to clarity on targets for sales, services and solution, clarity on targets for capacity and capability development and a clear activity plan to achieve the business targets.
  • Clarity on any geographic expansion that the partner may want to pursue.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with the partners to monitor the execution of their business plan.

Partner and partner people enablement
  • Act as a catalyst to promote capacity development in the partner’s organization. Mentor and coach partners to increase the capacity and implement processes and ideas to retain and grow the resources.
  • Train, mentor and coach clients by enabling them on stage based engagement approach, business plan creation train them for monitoring the execution of business plan
  • Enabling or facilitating the enhancement of selling skills, product knowledge, soft skills (communication, negotiation etc.)

Market Creation
  • Responsible for enabling the partner and the team so that they can Sell
  • Participate as speakers in  events
  • Learn what more our product needs to capture 100% of the market.
  • Ensure relevant product feedback is communicated to R&D team.

Lead generation
  • Responsible for periodically enabling all the partners on the usage of capsules to increase adoption across region & partners
  • Create an enablement calendar for periodic enablement of all capsules

Execute as per calendar
  • Responsible for implementing lead generation capsules with partners so that the region and its partners can succeed.
  • Participate in selection of partners and setting individual goals
  • Ensure select set of engagement partners start implementing all the capsules fully
  • Ensure partner create and follow the lead tracking mechanism

Requirements
  • Post Graduate or (Graduate + MBA) in a Business Related Course
  • 0-3 Years experience
  • Empathetic – understands partner’s needs and suggests appropriate solutions
  • Self-motivated
  • Quick learner and enthusiastic
  • Extrovert and outgoing, gets along well with wide variety of people
  • Doer or ‘get things done’ type of attitude
  • Interested in Technology and keeps up to date on consumer and business technology
  • Enjoys developing and growing people
  • Strong result orientation
  • Risk Taking Attitude (Appreciates and accepts big scale challenges)
  • Customer orientation (Understands emotional queues, is sensitive to partners issues when required)
