and promotes Environmental Conservation through sustainable development is
seeking for a suitable person to fill the position of Executive Assistant.
Purpose: To assist in all technical aspects
of the organization and deputize the Executive Director.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related social science.
- Knowledge and experience of accounting practice and QuickBooks will be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar position.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and to handle a variety of task simultaneously within a multicultural team.
- Good stewardship of resources and ability to serve with integrity.
- Strong personal motivation towards servant leadership, environmental conservation, climate change and sustainable development in Kenya.
- Impressive proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement administrative strategies, evaluate financial statements on monthly basis and develop program grants and financial contracts.
- Prepare and edit correspondences, reports and presentations.
- Manage projects and conduct research.
- Prepare program goals and objectives, provide support to members to achieve project deliverables within required timeframe and prepare work plans.
- Administer everyday functions for organization, evaluate progress and effectiveness of various training and fundraising programs.
- Make travel and guest arrangements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on non-profit and social justice organizations, manage communication with public and donors on various programs and prepare strategies to recommend organization with various social media.
- To carry out additional related tasks and functions as assigned by the Executive Director.
