Social Media Coordinator
We are a
dynamic multi-platform media organization, creating products for television,
print, the internet and mobile phones.
Main Duties
- To communicate with potential clients and contributors and program audiences via Facebook, Twitter, our Website and other social networking platforms
- Organize a monthly newsletter to our database
- Enter our material in festivals and contests
- Effort coverage from various media of different platforms of our new content
- Coordinate our efforts at Pan African and international media conferences
- Create, update and improve blogs on our website
- Build links with other websites and multi-platform media houses
- Send out press releases on a regular basis highlighting our achievements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required
- Pan African news awareness
- Knowledge of various social media platforms and how they work
- Charisma in communicating with people on-line
- Organizational skills to keep track of events, contests, initiatives
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Experience in the media or relationships with various media is helpful
