Faulu Kenya Deposit Taking Microfinance Limited is a dynamic Christian organization within the micro-finance sector. Faulu was the first Micro Finance Institution in Kenya to be licensed by the Central Bank as a deposit taking institution.

In order to strengthen our sales team in line with the Business Strategy, we are seeking highly competent, focused and results oriented sales professionals to fill the following position:

Position: Direct Sales Representatives - Kimathi Branch Nairobi Region

Reporting to the Team Leader – Direct Sales, the position holder’s key role is acquisition of new business at the same time ensuring quality customer service.

The Key Roles will include;
  • Deliver set Sales Targets in Deposit mobilization and Quality Loan Disbursement.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Actively participate in marketing campaigns to ensure clients are well informed of the product portfolio.
  • Seek customer feedback on products and services offered by the organization.
  • Provide daily Sales Reports.

Role Requirements
  • Minimum of a Diploma preferably in Sales & Marketing. A Degree is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in direct sales within banking, MFI, Insurance and related industries will be a definite advantage.
  • High levels of Integrity and Professionalism.
  • Self driven, passionate about sales and proven performance track record.
  • Good communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.



Security Manager

Reporting to the Head of Risk the Security Manager is responsible for managing the risk to the organization, its employees, customers, reputation, assets and interests of stakeholders.

He/she will ensure all company assets are secured and that there is appropriate physical security.

Key Roles and Expectations

The position holder will undertake the duties below among other related roles;
  • Identify & assess security threats ensuring mitigation measures are taken.
  • Formulate appropriate security policies and procedures.
  • Prevent, detect and investigate all reported fraud cases.
  • Train staff on fraud management and general security.
  • Liaise with Law enforcement agencies for necessary action on security issues.
  • Provide proper and continuous liaison between the Bank and external security agencies.
  • Advise the Banks line managers correctly on the implementation of bank security detail.
  • Represent the bank in all security forums with a view to sharing and understanding emerging crime trends in the market.
  • Undertake Security Surveys and advice the leadership appropriately.
  • Occasionally assist in vetting all staff to confirm compliance with all security measures.
  • Prepare security inspection reports for presentation to the Head of Risk.
  • Regularly inspect branches and other company business offices to ensure security compliance and set standards to be adhered to.

Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in Social studies, Criminology, Security studies, Business, Law or any related studies. A Masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • 5 years’ experience in the field of security management with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Security Management Skills is a must.
  • Knowledge of the key investigation procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant laws governing financial institutions.
  • Good interpersonal and report writing skills with ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent leadership ability.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong Christian values, commitment and passion for the transformation of the low income population.
