Vegetable Oils, Soaps and Fats.
They are
seeking a talented, self motivated, proactive and skilled individual of high
personal integrity to fill the following position:
Job Title: Financial
Controller, Mombasa
Job
Purpose: Provide leadership and management of Finance Department which is
entrusted with all aspects of Company financial management and control aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Finance Department staff
- Manage all aspects of manufacturing accounting and inventory control
- Preparation of periodic management and statutory financials
- In charge of budgeting, budgetary control and forecasting process
- Coordinate both interim and annual audits with company auditors
- Actively manage company cash flow on daily basis and generate relevant cash flow projections and forecasting
- Identify, Analyze and measure foreign currency exposures and recommend mitigation procedures/actions to management
- Manage and/Monitor all aspects company accounts receivable/payable
- Manage timely computation, payment and submission of all statutory deductions while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Perform timely pre and post implementation review of various projects and offer relevant financial advice/support to commercial teams on various business proposal evaluations.
Requirements
- A degree in Business related studies; Masters will be an added advantage.
- Experience in an ERP especially Oracle or SAP will be preferred
- Fully qualified accountant – CPA(K)/ACCA
- Sound hands on experience in a manufacturing concern with at least eight (8) years experience; including (3) years in supervisory role covering the key accountabilities above.
- Experience in Oracle operating environment will be a major added advantage.
- Highly energetic, eager to learn and with special attention to detail.
