Our client
is a Multinational company in the Telecommunications Industry.
They are
looking to recruit a Finance Director.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Advise the Executive team and board of directors on financial strategy and its impact on company objectives
- Assist the board in sourcing prospects for future income by analyzing financial trends and any gaps in the market or potential opportunities
- Participate in financial and strategic planning
- Develop a sound budgeting and budgetary control framework
- Provide oversight over statutory reporting including annual accounts and financial statements
- Provide leadership to the Finance team and ensure timely and effective performance in the division
- Supervisory responsibility for accounting procedures
- Overall responsibility for the financial health of the organization
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with professional qualifications in Finance or Accounting
- Member of ICPAK
- MBA or Masters in Finance will be an added advantage
- At least 10 years experience, 3 of which should be at Senior Management level
- Computer proficiency with experience in accounting and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
