Responsibilities and Duties
  • A Front-line quota carrying resource responsible for the sale of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) products to either a geographic territory or list of named accounts, in Nairobi.
  • Responsible for new customer acquisition and penetration of current customers through incremental sales of GRC products and services.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute against strategic account and target plans.
  • Product Sales: Drive product sales for all GRC products and services within an assigned territory or set of named accounts.
  • Client Relationships: Gains customer acceptance by explaining GRC value propositions.
  • Leverage knowledge of industry challenges and opportunities to build trust and respect with current and future customers.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Serves as a critical team member of GRC
  • Sales. Collaborate with multiple specialists, sales engineers, and customers at one time.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management's strategic decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Sales Background: at least 5 years in a sales or client service organisation.
  • Industry Knowledge: at least 5 years experience working in a team selling environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently over delivering on assigned sales quota and maintaining long term relationship with customers
  • Technical Requirements: Expert Understanding of GRC business in Africa, in particular around KYC and software sales and implementation for Operational Risk, Audit and Compliance solutions
  • Contacts: Must have proven and professional contacts with Compliance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Procurement departments with Banks, Corporates, and Government Institutions in Kenya and Africa.
  • Well averse of the latest GRC changes around Basel recommendations, FATCA, AML, etc with ability to hold a discussion with experts on the matters and to translate it into business opportunities
  • Independent Worker: Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent, fast-paced, and under pressure team environment.
  • Business Acumen: Proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing insightful, actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outside of the box thinker: must showcase strong entrepreneurial attitude and self motivation character
  • Attention to details.
