Our client
in the service industry is looking for hardworking committed candidates to work
as Audit
Assistants.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that a corporation’s internal controls, procedures and mechanisms conform to top management’s instructions, regulatory guidelines and industry practices.
- Apply auditing skills and accounting acumen to perform tasks.
- Develop the assigned audit plan including scope and objectives of the audit, and audit procedures
- Carrying out the audit plan as briefed by the seniors
- Writing notes on all matters outstanding on the accounts
- Addressing all queries arising from the seniors regarding the audits
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Minimum CPA III
- Degree/ Diploma in a Business/ Accounts Related Field is a distinct advantage
- 2years experience in accounts & audit field
- Should have worked with small & midsized audit firms
- Have experience in financial reporting/compliance
- Suitable candidate should be of unquestionable integrity
- They should also be dynamic and a team player
- To be fully conversant with best practices and current legislation
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment
- Have good attention to detail
