Responsibilities
Market
exclusive company brands in assigned market segment by enlisting more brands in
existing accounts and soliciting for new business
Prepare
weekly schedule
Walk the
schedule, document and report progress of sales activities in relation to set
targets against time lapses -in weekly sales meetings
Follow up
sales leads provided by head of sales
Plan and
execute sales promotions
Debt
collection
Achieve
sales targets set month on month and collect sales incentives pegged to targets
Submit
monthly sales reports including market intelligence
Update
customer database regularly
Entry Criteria
- Graduate in social science or diploma in marketing with at least 4 years relevant experience
- Self-motivated individual with excellent inter personal skills
- Experience in selling fast consumer goods is vital & extensive wine/Alcohol knowledge is of added advantage
- Ability to analyze and prepare numerical data relating to sales and related financial projections
- Competent in the use of spreadsheets and other reporting software
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to analyze market data, recommend and implement necessary actions.
- Driving skills required
