Impact Research and Development Organization is a registered Kenyan NGO with a main office in Kisumu and regional offices in eight counties.

IRDO’s principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities.

We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the following positions.

HBHTC Field Officers / Lead Mobilizers

5 Positions

Job Summary: Responsible for Community entry and mobilization as part of demand creation for door to door Testing and Counseling.

Reporting to: Regional HTC Coordinator

Location: Ndhiwa, Nyando & Homabay Districts

Minimum Requirements
  • KCSE certificate with minimum of grade C-minus
  • Diploma/Certificate in any Social sciences
  • Over one year experience in the same position or consistently working in the community
  • Must be ready to stay in the community
  • Must have pleasant personality to be able to deal with community gate keepers
  • Must be fluent in English and Luo languages
  • Certificate in HTC from any NASCOP certified institution is an added advantage.
