organizations in Kenya and the region.
We have been operational
since 2001 and has successfully organized local, regional and international
events such as conferences, conventions, road shows, product launches and
experiential brand immersion events/campaigns.
To maintain and grow this
customer base and to streamline operations in
line with ISO requirements, we are seeking to recruit a General Manager.
Key
Responsibilities
- In liaison with the CEO, play a key role in the review of the business and operational activity plans and drive implementation.
- Manage the financial health of the business
- Prepare and implement a work plans to manage events that ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Provide overall leadership to the business including staff motivation and development
- Marketing and selling the company’s services to existing and prospective clients
- Creating, maintaining and developing close business and working relationships with clients and suppliers
- Reviewing and recommending ways to improve operational efficiency
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years experience in general management in a similar environment. Regional experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent track record organizing events and understanding of event processes, technologies and resources.
- Strong experience in managing people, budgets and negotiation of contracts
- Demonstrable business building experience
