Key Responsibilities
Reporting
to the Project Manager, he/she will, among other duties, be responsible for:
- Confirming and approving architectural and structural setting of works on site as required;
- Confirming work measurements and keeping records;
- Interpreting contract documents( drawings) on site;
- Assessing progress of work to keep in pace with the contract program;
- Monitoring quality of work, cost and timely completion of the project;
- Preparation of minutes for the site meetings
- Coordination of all issues between the contractor and the consultant
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience
The desired
candidate must:
- Have a Bachelor degree in Civil/Building Engineering or a related degree from a recognized university;
- Membership in a professional body will be of added advantage;
- Have a minimum of B in K.C.S.E;
- Have excellent proven analytical, people and project management skills;
- Be computer literate with skills in Ms office Suite and internet;
- Must be conversant with modern building construction practices;
- Be proactive and a self starter;
- Be a strong team player.
